About George Vietze, Owner/licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker

George Vietze is a retired real estate investor who discovered the Erie, Pa. Area when his son, John, moved to the area in 2000 to raise his daughter in a more rural lifestyle than Scottsdale, Arizona.

The contrast between the Erie area and Arizona and California where he has been living since 1969 was significant.

Approaching retirement, George noticed the area where John lived has peaceful with beautiful surroundings and large amounts of green open space, and very little traffic. It became more interesting when he discovered that Erie, a town of approximately 100,000+ had much more to offer in attractions, education, culture, beaches, ski and golf resorts than any other area that he was familiar with that had land at reasonable prices and was within 15-25 minutes from almost any area in Erie.

Land prices were still very reasonable considering the proximity to Erie. His first venture was to purchase 10 acres from John and subdivided the Lots on Dyer Road

Large parcels of land do not become available very often, when John noticed that the Engle Farm on Phillipsville Road was available and the 197 acres was only offered in one parcel, he called George.

The land is beautiful with great views, backs up to wood land, frontage on both Phillipsville Road and Page Road, just north of Route 8 which is only 8 miles south of Route 90 with direct access to Erie within 15-20 minutes. Phillipsville Road is a paved road with natural gas available.

After market research data seem to indicate that there may be a greater demand for larger lots in this area, the land is being subdivided into six 14 to 19 acre lots along Phillipsvilee Road. These lots will have approved septic systems and designated as “Clean and Green”, a preferred real estate tax category, that benefits land owners who agree to a minimum of 10 acre lots. The lower taxes on the land will allow the buyers the benefit of being able to put more resources into the house and facilities.

George is convinced that purchasing these well located home sites will be an investment in a rural lifestyle that you and your family will treasure.
